• 4/28/2003 - I won 3rd place (Honorable Mention) for Beginners in the 2003 Lord of The Rings national miniatures painting contest! The contest was run by Games Workshop, the company licensed to make tabletop wargaming equipment (AKA toys for geeks) inspired by the movies.

My husband, Chris. His last day as a Captain in the US Army was August 30, 2001. He's now a manager with Games Workshop.

• Self portrait with Chloe, the streetwise-princess kitten who adopted us while we were stationed in Fort Sill, OK. Chris' ear is SO fascinating. Chloe lives with our friend in Houston now.
