Far-Flung Photography
"A traveller! By my faith, you have great reason to be sad:
I fear you have sold your own lands to see other men's;
then, to have seen much, and to have nothing, is to have
rich eyes and poor hands." -- Rosalind, in Shakespeare's "As You Like It"
Here is a collection of photographs from my travels and homes
over the past few years. Almost all of the photos are my own.
They are organized according to country.
I have a lot more photos to add eventually, not to mention descriptive text,
so if there's something in particular that you'd like to see,
let me know.
It also seems that some people actually want to see photos of me,
which are sparse among these pages, so I've collected them on
this page.
I've used an assortment of camera types,
but my current "weapons of choice" are a
Pentax ME-Super semi-automatic SLR 35mm
with 28-200mm Sigma lens,
and a Sony CyberShot DSC-P52.
If you would like to purchase the rights (at
a reasonable price) to an image,
let me know.
These may be prints from film, or high-resolution digital
files, depending on the image.

"Farewell, monsieur traveller: look you lisp and wear strange suits;
disable all the benefits of your own country;
be out of love with your nativity, and almost chide God for
making you that countenance you are;
or I will scarce think you have swam in a gondola."
