Observations

Notes on files on Individual Objects

1. The 'Fluxed' spectra are not fluxed. They are DN divided by a non-sensible normalization factor.
2. The continuum fits were carefully performed in the regions near the TiII transitions but are otherwise somewhat crude.
3. The IDL continuum files can be used with x_continuum to recover and improve upon the continuum solutions.
4. The current data was reduced with simple IDL scripts (e.g. x_apall) written by JXP.

  • Observational Details :: This data was taken with the upgraded CCD mosaic + HIRES on the KeckI telescope. In all cases we used the B5 decker (0.86'' slit) and a cross-disperser angle which covered to below 3000Ang on the 'blue' chip.
