Photo Gallery: Delivery Run

In May 2000 I had the opportunity to help a colleague deliver his 30 ft gemini catamaran from Redwood City to Capitola. It was an eventful project, due to unexpected late-season weather, but after two attempts we did get there. I got very few good pictures on the trip -- too busy with other things, and conditions were not very photogenic. But here are a few:
(Redwood City) The Catamaran "2 Phrogs" at her slip in Docktown, Redwood City.

(Redwood City 2) From "2 Phrogs" on her way down-channel to the South Bay; the skipper is shouting with joy at leaving Docktown behind.

(San Francisco) San Francisco coming up -- around dawn, with a decent breeze, "2 Phrogs" is going fairly well.
