DEEP Observes HDF

On 1996 April 21st, 22nd and 23rd, spectroscopic observations covering 142 objects (including alignment stars) in the HDF and flanking fields were obtained by the DEEP group at Lick Observatory (University of California, Santa Cruz) with Keck I + LRIS. Every object was exposed a total of 3000 - 6000s in each of a 600 l/mm grating in the blue and a 600 l/mm grating in the red. The wavelength covered is from 4200A to 9000A with a resolution of 1.2 - 1.8 Å/pixel.
