RSVP: Jason Melbourne -- jmel@ucolick.org (~30 spots available)

INVITATION:
The Center for Adaptive Optics (CfAO) invites you to attend a special workshop to be held in conjunction with the Nearly Normal Galaxies Conference in Santa Cruz. On Sunday August 7 from 2:00 - 8:00 PM, the CfAO will be hosting a workshop on Extragalactic AO Imaging and Integral Field Spectroscopy. The organizers include Claire Max, James Larkin and David Koo, who are the PI's of the CfAO Treasury Survey (CATS), which aims to follow-up deep HST galaxy fields with AO imaging and spectroscopy at Keck.

GOALS of the workshop :
1) present the current status of extragalactic AO imaging and integral field spectroscopy
2) discuss observing strategies and the utility and limitations of current extragalactic AO studies.
3) foster a collaborative environment among the extragalactic AO community

TALKS :
Claire Max Intro to CfAO and CATS ppt pdf
