Welcome to my website!
I am a second year graduate student in the Astronomy and Astrophysics Department at the University of California at Santa Cruz. My research currently focuses on nucleosynthesis in the neutrino driven wind in the post bounce core-collapse supernova environment. I am also involved in projects studying nuclear physics in x-ray bursts, monte carlo radiation hydrodynamics, and mini-supernova in the tidal tails of neutron star black hole mergers. Generally, I am interested in dynamical events in the heavens, especially ones that involve large explosions and high energies.
Outside of work, I enjoy many outdoor pursuits and playing the drums. Currently, I am trying to start a band.
