I am graduate student in the Astronomy and Astrophysics Department
at the University of California at Santa Cruz. Generally, I am interested in theoretical/computational nuclear
astrophysics. My
research currently
focuses on proto-neutron star cooling and nucleosynthesis in the
neutrino driven wind. I am also involved in projects studying
nuclear physics in x-ray bursts, monte carlo neutrino transport,
neutrino interactions in dense matter, and the electromagnetic and
nucleosynthetic signatures of compact object mergers. My
advisor is Stan Woosley and my collaborators include Sanjay Reddy, Enrico
Ramirez-Ruiz, Vincenzo Cirigliano, and Dan Kasen.
