Hi. The moon is the second brightest thing in our sky, after the
Sun. It doesn't shine with its own light, but is very good
at reflecting light from the Sun. So, if the moon is
up in our sky during the day, it is bright enough that
we can see it, despite all the scattered sunlight that
the blue sky is sending our way. This is not
true of the stars and the planets. Only during
a solar eclipse will you see those during the day.
Depending where the moon is in its orbit around the Earth,
you can see the moon in the morning, in the evening, or
not at all during the day, if it is a new or full moon.
I hope this helps,
Jennifer Johnson
