Hello Ben,

There is a website that permits you to create and print a sky chart for
any place, date and time. The page is:
http://www.fourmilab.ch/yoursky

The most important bit of information is your latitude, as this affects
what stars you can see. If you enter the incorrect longitude, then the
time at which the stars are visible in the exact positions may change. The
clock uses Universal Time, which is the same as Greenwich Mean Time.
Greenwich Mean Time is six hours ahead of Central Standard Time (five
hours during daylight savings time).

Sky and Telescope magazine also publishes a monthly sky chart on their web
site. The address is:
http://www.skypub.com/sights/northern/northern.shtml

Good luck, and thanks for writing!

Sincerely,
Kurtis Williams
