Why doesn't the Earth's gravitational field warp sunlight?

Hello,
Excellent question. The Earth's gravitational field would warp
space so that the Sun's rays would be distorted. However, the
effect would be immesurabley small from our point of view.
Such a tiny angle of deviation would only result in a
measurable shift after it had traveled an enormous distance.
