You can see Mars with your eyes from the ground, but you need a
telescope to get a better view. The Hubble Telescope, which has a
mirror that is 2.4 meters across, has looked at Mars. If you go to
http://oposite.stsci.edu/pubinfo/SolarSystemT.html#Mars
there are some pictures that Hubble took of Mars.
Unfortunately, there are no aliens in the pictures. A group of
scientists thought that they had found evidence for life on Mars
in a Martian meterorite that landed on Earth and was found in
Antarctica. These animals were not very big, in fact, they were
single-celled organisms. Other scientists, however, disagree and
say that the signs of life in the Martian rock were not made by
animals, but by ordinary chemical processes that could happen
on a planet with water, like Mars once had. I don't think we'll
know for sure until we send a spacecraft to Mars to collect various
rocks for study. If you would like more information, another Web
site to look at is

Thanks for your questions, and I hope this answers them!
