Filter curve data for these plots provided by Michael Liu (UC-Berkeley). He says that the fine structure near the peak of the J-band filter is not included, as well as some of the structure in the low transmission regimes. For more detailed data see the print version of the LIRC II user's manual.

The transmission curve was generated by Steve Lord at JPL using his ATRAN program ("A New Software Tool for Computing Earth's Atmospheric Transmission of Near- and Far-Infrared Radiation", NASA Tech Memorandum 103957, Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, CA, Dec 1992).
