Chillán


1st-3rd: Fería de Chillán (pop 167,000), a famous open-air market.


1st-2nd: Iglesia Franciscano.
3rd-4th: Iglesia Catedral.


1st-2nd: Murals in Parque Monumental Bernardo O'Higgins. O'Higgins was born in Chillán, and is considered the "liberator" of Chile (from Spain).
3rd: Painting Muerte al Invasor (1942) by David Alfaro Siqueiros of Mexico, in Escuela México. Centrally figured are Chilean heroes Bernardo O'Higgins and the Araucanian cacique Galvarino, whose hands were amputated by the conquistadores.
4th: Also in the school is Hermanos Mexicanos by Xavier Guerrero.
