Copenhagen / København


1st: Bust of famous Danish physicist Niels Bohr at the university.
2nd: Vor Frue Kirke (neoclassical cathedral).
3rd: Youth at Rådhuspladsen (city hall square).
4th: Interior of train station.
5th: Rosenborg Slot (17th-century castle in Dutch Renaissance style) and Kungens Have (public gardens).
6th: City skyline. In the background is the new bridge to Malmö, Sweden. Opened in July 2000, this 11 km bridge establishes a land connection between Denmark and Sweden and theoretically makes it easier for Swedes to buy cheap alcohol.


1st: Cafe- and crowd-bedecked Nyhaven canal. Hans Christian Andersen used to hang out here.
2nd: Detail on the Rådhus (city hall).
3rd-4th: Interior and exterior of Rundetårn, built as an astronomical observatory in 1642.


Rødbyhavn


This is the port where the ferry lands from Puttgarden, Germany. If you're going by rail, the train actually drives onto the ferry!
