Opened in July 2000, this 11 km bridge establishes a land connection
between Denmark and Sweden and theoretically makes it easier for
Swedes to buy cheap alcohol.
1st:
Cafe- and crowd-bedecked Nyhaven canal. Hans Christian Andersen used to hang out here.
2nd: Detail on the Rådhus (city hall).
3rd-4th: Interior and exterior of
Rundetårn, built as an astronomical observatory in 1642.
Rødbyhavn
This is the port where the ferry lands from Puttgarden, Germany.
If you're going by rail, the train actually drives onto the ferry!
