About
I am a fourth-year graduate student in the astronomy department at UCSC. My research involves both observational astronomy and numerical simulations.
I began my observational work at San Francisco State University with Adrienne Cool, studying the first extended sequence of indvidually identified helium-core white dwarfs found in a globular cluster (NGC 6397).
When I arrived at UCSC, I began working with Enrico Ramirez-Ruiz on computational and semi-analytic models of the colliding winds of WR20a, a Wolf-Rayet binary system. I am affiliated with CArGo, a computational astrophysics working group at Santa Cruz.
