This project, on the color-magnitude diagram of a globular cluster, is based on Stuart Norton's work --- and he's leading a similar project on the CMD of an open cluster. The project is part of Cluster 10: Stars, Sight and Science of the COSMOS program. Cluster 10 is offered by the NSF Center for Adaptive Optics with help from some other (non-CfAO) people in the UCSC Astronomy Dept. One last link if you care: I'm Scott Seagroves. |
