Shane Cassegrain guider UCAM coordinates
This is a draft.
Scale and orientation seem right for usual UCAM operation.
FITS coordinates for the UCAM Shane Cassegrain guider
using the diagonal (mirror position 2)
as a PDF file
image scale is 0.512 arcsec/pixel
detector pixels are 24um*24um
FITS coordinates for the UCAM Shane Cassegrain slitjaw guider
using the periscope (mirror position 4)
as a PDF file
image scale is 0.30 arcsec/pixel
detector pixels are 24um*24um
These diagrams are a synthesis of the contents of what should be
several separate diagrams and documents.
The engineering diagrams documenting the guider focal planes
should not include
-
the device names of the CCDs
-
the designations of the video inputs
-
the FITS coordinates
This is a draft. It all deserves double checking.
Please let me know if you find anything that seems awry.
The FITS coordinates can be redefined, but the current
coordinates indicate the manner in which the ucam
code writes the pixels into the FITS image array.
