Positions of Instruments (and other relevant structures)
Sorry, this one really is under construction.
In PLO I (1887) Holden declared that the Fauth Transit defined
``the position of Lick Observatory''. Holden apparently engaged in
correspondence with the USC&GS to get Mt. Hamilton added to the list
of geodetic sites being surveyed as part of the first Transcontinental
Triangulation.
