I am actively doing research in the following areas with • Greg Laughlin:

⊕ Spiral instabilities in protoplanetary disks

⊕ Radial velocity and transit analysis [Systemic Console]

⊕ The characterization of extrasolar planets.

This work is also carried in collaboration with Eugenio Rivera, • Steve Vogt and Paul Butler.

I am working with • Doug Lin on various topics concerning the dynamical evolution of planetary systems; in particular, I am interested in researching how the observed eccentricity distribution of extrasolar planets might emerge and whether any predictions can be made on the to-be-discovered terrestrial planets. [• Preliminary results talk]

As a side project, I am developing a tree-SPH code to be used to compare against the grid codes I am currently running. I will mantain a page listing my progress on this subject:

⊕ Writing a tree-SPH code
