NAME

titlebar - writes text in the titlebar of a window

SYNOPSIS

titlebar [ -xxx ] text

DESCRIPTION

Titlebar copies its arguments to the titlebar of the window. If -xxx is given, then /dev/xxx is the target window, and tset is used on /dev/xxx to determine the terminal type.

At this writing, titlebar knows the proper escape sequences for writing to the titlebars of xterm's, [x]gterm's, hpterm's, and sun's.
