Problem: Tweeter Heartbeat Inactive

Manifestation:

Solution/Recovery:

Level 1:

• In ShaneAO loop control GUI (saocon_gui), cycle Tweeter Off and then On.

Level 2:

• In ShaneAO Power Controls GUI, cycle power to outlet B6 OFF and then ON.
• In ShaneAO loop control GUI (saocon_gui), cycle Tweeter Off and then On.

Level 3:

• In ShaneAO loop control GUI (saocon_gui): Select File..., Exit...

• In ShaneAO command window: exit()

• In xterm window, start ShaneAO software: shaneao.

  Following successful response to shaneao command, execute the appropriate commands to achieve a standard configuration, e.g.

  >>> mode('16xLGS') or >>> mode('8xLGS')

  >>> init(16) or >>> init(8)

   
     >>> woof('on') 
      
     >>> mems('on') 
      
     >>> ngs() 
      
     >>> offload('on') 
      
     >>> cent(binquad) 
     

  >>> refcent(data/'hs-20XX-XX-XX-BINQUAD_16xLGS_onSky.fits') or >>> refcent(data/'hs-20XX-XX-XX-BINQUAD_8xLGS_onSky.fits')

• Start ShaneAO loop control GUI: saocon_gui

  Load appropriate Instrument setup(s), refcent, rates, gains, etc.

Level 4:

• Workaround: Bypass heartbeat monitor.
