SHARCS Problem: Lost Server
Problem Description:
Lost Server, highlighted in red appears in top left of sharcs_fe GUI.
Manifestation:
sharcs_gui reports Lost Server, highlighted in red in upper left.
sharcs_fe GUI may become unresponsive.
Solution/Recovery:
Level 1

user@covert.ucolick.org > ao status sharcs - Check if Sharcs is running.

user@covert.ucolick.org > ao restart sharcs - (Re-)start Sharcs.

user@covert.ucolick.org > sharcs_fe - Start Sharcs GUI.

Select Windows menu in Sharcs GUI.

Select Setup.

Execute Connect.

Execute Init.

Cause:

Problem with the samba export of the drive from Linux machine
covert onto which the WinXP machine stealthie
writes the FITS files.

Occurs sporadically following attempts to modify detector windowing.
