Dynamical Astronomy
(Fall 2004)
Dynamical Astronomy is a course taught by Greg Laughlin. This class studies various dynamical processes in astrophysics and provides mathematical and numerical methods for finding solutions to their equations of motion. Included under the breadth of topics are the 2 & 3 body problem, planetary orbits and their stability over time, and galatic dynamics.

Stellar Structure
(Fall 2004)
Stellar Structure is a great course taught by Peter Bodenheimer. The class project involved the construction of a time-independent stellar model with self imposed initial conditions on the mass and composition. I chose to build a high metallicity (X=0.35, Y=0.55, Z=0.15) one solar mass star. My results, along with a comparison to similar solar models, is discussed in my "High Metallicity Solar Model or Bust!" paper:
